Why choose a TGE instead of a Crafter?
Almost entirely for the network. If your maintenance, MOT and tachograph work already goes through a MAN dealer, keeping the vans there simplifies scheduling and paperwork. Mechanically you are getting the same van either way.
Is the TGE suitable for an operator-licensed fleet?
It is a common choice for businesses running vans alongside HGVs, particularly where van maintenance is being brought into the same inspection regime. If you are bringing vans into an operator licence voluntarily, tell us — inspection intervals affect how we set the maintenance package.
Can I get the TGE with an automatic gearbox?
Yes, an eight-speed automatic is offered across much of the range and is worth considering for urban and multi-drop work. It adds to the monthly rental, so we will quote it alongside the manual rather than assuming.
